How has the fishing been at Massacre Rocks? I was there in early May and did not catch anything but carp. The Ranger told me to return when the water drops and warms up. Anyone have any info?

Sorry I haven't been there since May myself. It seems like the water is really high, but I haven't checked the flow lately.

The water is still high at about 25,000cfs. It will be atleast another 2 weeks before it gets down to a "Normal" level.

Fished it on Fathers Day. Fishing was pretty good. We boated probably 20 Bass from 9 am -1:30 till we got blown off the river. Smallmouth were any where there were rocks. We fished the shoreline across from the boat ramp and the rocky rip rap right below the freeway. It was my first time fishing that area of the snake but I will definitely be getting back soon. If the fishing was that good at high water, I want to see what happens with lower flows. The fish really like the soft plastics!
