I have always heard about some monster perch at Twin lakes, we found some on Saturday. They do get big! It was a fun evening other then the other boats that like to blow by you and throw you around with the wakes. Wish people could learn some common courtesy.

I was up there Saturday also. I still have not found any perch but I did manage to catch a nice bunch of big bluegill and one 19.5 inch rainbow! Do you mind giving me a heads up as to where the perch where? Even just a general area would be appreciated. I have been fishing the back lake for bluegill and finding them in the deep water.
You are totally right about the boaters buzzing by way to close! I fish out of my float tube and I stay close to shore but some people still insist on getting too close for comfort. I really get pissed off when people act like that but what can you do? Oh well.

Last time I was there I only caught one big perch. How many did you get into?

We brought home 20 of them the biggest were 12 inches and fat the smallest about 9 inches. It was fast and furious while we were in them, then it slowed down towards dark. Not a lot of them but they were all quality fish. I could not believe how fat the big ones were. Bigger then the Weston reservoir perch I have caught in the past.
