Thought we would try Utah Lake this morning. The wind was blowing when we arrived and never really stopped. By the time we left a little after noon, the waves were pretty good. Tried trolling south out of Provo Harbor, for a couple of hours but nothing. Decided to go back into Provo Bay to get out of the wind and bait fish for the cats. Caught a couple of nice eating size and one big monster that really gave me a fight. We were using minnows. A least we didn't get skunked and we have dinner. I just wish that the wind wasn't always present on Utah Lake The biggest cat was 27" and weighed about 8 pounds. We're guessing on the weight as the lip gripper doesn't seem to be weighing right.
