Man am I glad I made a quick stop at walmart this morning! Had to grab some gulp minnows. It was well worth the extra 30 mins it took to get to the lake.
Beautiful morning at 6 o'clock when I finally parked my car in the marina parking lot. Got the gear and threw on the new minnow i got from walmart and had a bass the first cast. Pulled in ten in bout an hour in the one spot so then I Decided to move catching one or two as I worked my way up the bank. Then for bout an hour nothing. So I decided it was finally time to change colors. Put on the white minnow and immediately had hits. They were little dinks but pulled in a nice 11 incher. Then BAM this big guy hit. He 'gulp'ed it up and ran. Put up a nice fight before I pulled him to shore. Wow what a catch! Bout time I caught something of a decent size. All in all bout 20 bass. Good day for only being there for three hours.
