Wife looking for new tube...
#1
[blush]Ok I think I need a little help with this one. We went out and started looking around today at tubes. She can't make up her mind. We looked at the classic accessories teton- she thinks it makes the person floating in it look fat. Then we looked at the Togiak, she still lost. Then she looked at the fish cat. Now I am lost.[crazy] Looking at the Togiak and the Fish cat they are pretty similar. What are the pros and cons between the two?[Image: dumb.gif] Your help is appreciated[cool]

Like the old joke went it is not the float tube that make you look fat it is the fat that makes you look fat.
I have the FC4, and I like it a lot. I have only been in a few tubes but this one is faster with less energy out put. My son and I race some times and he is 15 years old 6 foot tall and strong as an ox, he can't win no matter how hard he tries. The FC4 glides in the water because of the way it is made with the PVC? on the bottom, and the double pontune set up. I also think my FC4 is more manageable in the wind than any I have used. Just my opinion, and it ain't worth much. Ron

" look fat "- WHO CARES !!! you are fishing !!!
It is not a fasion show, its fishing. But then again, its a lot
esier for guys I guess.
Just tell your wife that because the tube is so big it
makes her look so small and hot.
I dont know man, If I cared how I look like ,I would never
go out on the water. And some of the other people I see
on the water..........Oh boy..........RUN.
But we all are having a good time and thats what it is
all about

[cool][#0000ff]Glad the Mrs. likes tubing enough to get serious and want a ride of her own.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Togiaks are made for Trout Unlimited. They are LARGE craft, better suited for a hefty male tuber. Also, they are not as good in the quality construction department as the Fish Cat. There have been quite a few reports of failed seams and zippers.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]As many other small to mid-sized tubers have found, the Fish Cat is plenty of craft with decent quality. Cheaper than toons or Fat Cats, but with plenty of good features. Not cheaper than many other tubes, but worth the extra money.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Plus, if you shop wisely (online) you can usually score a good deal.[/#0000ff]

My son has a W.W. Grigg tube. I was given a fathers day gift card for Sportsmans Warehouse. I had a 20 year old Browning round tube so I got my son this tube with my fathers day gift card. My Mother in law found out what I did and got my the FC4 for my birthday. Katie was using his yeaterday in the pictures of her. Please don't anyone tell her it makes her look fat!
FG, you should post more pictures so I can show them to her. Ron

My wife knows the meaning of picky and doesn't know when to quit. I may end up getting the fish cat. She was really impressed by it. But then I left here last night with 4 different tubes to look at online before I went to bed. Now we will see what happens monday.

It's called evolution.
I don't have them all at one time.
Just keep up grading.

You will notice however, the bigger the boat, the smaller my butt[laugh][laugh]

I use a pontoon. I'm not sure if I like any of them but then again I need to sit in them and see how they are for sure.

Yeah, the outlaw looks like a great boat. Can you put
trolling motor on it ?
And can you stand and cast no problem ?

That is a Minn Kota 40 on the back, but turn the frame around and :

and yes you can stand with the frame in either direction. Plus, I can put both frames on one boat:

(these pictures are NFO staff, but I will get around to doing it myself,

[blush]That was very nice of you to say that I it would make me look so small and hot.
I am picky about the one I hate, I do not like the seat on the creek company tube. I also donot like the Teton because it makes you look fat. I know it is not a fashion show but if I had enough colors to work with I would do the fashion show. I like the fish cat because it looks sturdy and heavy duty. And it is blue.[cool]
