Question About Navajo
#1
My cousin went to Navajo Lake two weeks ago and suggested that I try it for some fishing. He told me that the two campgrounds near the lake filled up very quickly so you have to get there early. I'm going in two weeks but the problem is that because of work I will not be able to get there early enough to secure a campsite. My question is, are you allowed to camp on your own (dispersed camping) near the lake anywhere? And if not right on the lake, at least walking distance so I can take my poll and head up to the shore. If anyone has been there and has any ideas of where I could do this please let me know. I just joined the forum today so I look forward to many years of getting and receiving great advice.
