Burning Bridges

Litteraly,

just after 8 pm tonight

the 9 mile bridge over I-75 in Hazel Park has burned to the ground. Litteraly, it is gone, burnt to ashes...

a fuel tanker rolled under the bridge and the fire burned for hours.

them bridges are made of steel and concrete..it have to get pretty hot to turn it to ash..i gotta se that one

i seen it on the news that was one big bonfire...

the most amazing part is no body got hurt, at least not seriously

Oh, did you see the footage of the ediots who drove across the bridge while it was on fire?[shocked]

I saw the footage where the speeder that caused the accident said he has no apologies for his action and he would do it again , what a dip-stick !

but ya know how things go with people with only one thing on their minds...

the I-75 north and south is open again for business again.

it was going to open yesterday, but there was some concern about fuel in the ground seaping fuel from the tanker back on to the road.

tonight I went to see that new orphan movie, I never made it, some one tried to take out the bridge right in front of me on M-5, the flames were shooting over top the bridge.

I went to see a horror show but saw real horror insted... I think the person was still alive because the ambulance drove away with its lights and sirens... wont know for sure till I hear it on the news in the morning...

I was going to take my camera with me that night, even put in fresh batteries but then didnt.

turns out that it was a hit and run... When the flames went up I turned off at the intersection before, I knew it was to late for anything I could do...

a truck had run in to the rear end of a small car stopped on the side of the road. it looked like the bridge was on fire from where I was because the flame was so intence.

the driver of the pickup got out just in time and was aided to another car across the median and from there he ran in to the bush along side of the road, Police are still looking for him tonight...
