Bows at Rockport

[cool]Went to Rockport with my son today ( 7-16) and had a lot of strikes. We landed 4 in a couple of hours and had a blast. Big ol fat fish.
I had 4lb test for my leader and it broke many times even though the fish were not even one pound. Should I have used bigger pound test leader? Is there a different knot to strengthen the leader line? Check out the pictures and let me know where else is hot!![fishin]

Those fish shouldn't have broken 4 lb test. A simple "improved clinch" should be able to handle those guys just fine. You may adjust your drag a little, but even so, I wouldn't expect you to break 4 lb leader fighting those guys.
