Where oh where did the boils go?

Was out on willard wed and got into some boils... Some buddies went out yesterday and couldnt buy a boil....Met up with wiper junkin (FRED) and we go out today and same scenario no boils but tons of shad everywhere.... we find a bunch of shad and start bouncing jigs and whack fred pulls in the one and only wiper.. we trolled but that provided nothing....Where have the boils gone?
