Well today I fished my first CBA. I must say that it was ran very well. Hats off to the guys that put in the time to make things happen. Started off the morning putting the smackdown on some fish. ME and Jonathan had a limit within the first 45 minutes to an hour of fishing doing a little ledge fishing catching fish on jigs and Cranks. We moved in and out for a few hours picking up a fish here and there, but the bite seemed to stop for us, so we decided to move and try some different water. Bad idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We only caught one more fish and it was a dink. Ohh while I am thinking about it, if there are several boats fishing in close proximity and there are marker bouys in the water and it is deep enough to float a barge for miles around common sense would tell you to not run 70mph right through the middle of them. I swear if I would had something with trebles on when whoever this was ran through us you would be hanging by a piece of freakin driftwood. Don't be a douchebag. Also, a bit of fishing advice don't run across a flat and then turn directly around and fish right where you just came across. I am not a rocket scientist, but fish don't tend to like that sort of thing. Back to the fishing part. We came back and fished our original spot where we witnessed several other boats bring em in, but ohh not us. I hooked up with a real nice fish that spit my bait at the boat emoBadLanguage emoBadLanguage emoBadLanguage. We finished the day with 11.41, I don't know what place, but I feel if we had been more patient we would have got a check. There is always next time. I enjoyed meeting and fishing with Jonathan and look forward to doing it again sometime!
