Pioneer Tubing
#1
Here in Utah and parts of Idaho, the 24th of July is a holiday (Pioneer Day)
So with a three day weekend, we headed North.
Had mixed weather, with Rain, Big wind storms, and Hot muggy days all rolled into three fantastic fishing days.

Storm rolling in:

[#0000ff]I'm betting that within a half second of the picture that Baxter bit that fish's head off. He tried for mine but he couldn't jump that high. Thankfully the cyclone fence kept him from chomping a little lower. Nasty little doggie.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Does he prefer boo or glass?[/#0000ff]

FUNNY! True, but funny. He has no preference.
He sits in a rubbermaid container on my boat, When I came in shore, a frog jumped on the shore and hit the container top by a couple of inches.
Could you imagine if the frog had landed IN the container with Baxter!!!!!
He guards his yard! HELL BOY!

Damn, stillwater troutin' at its best! Sooo jealous. Wish I could get on some of that deep midgin' action.

I really need to suck it up and go all in on that technique. I just don't have the confidence (and perhaps more important the water!).

Thank you for sharing this experiance. Great pictures!!
A bit off topic but I am still in awe with the comfort and practicality of the Simms G3 Convertables. You have brought my tubing to a new comfort level!!!! The mid range Rivendells are keeping friends dry also. Thank you, Illinoisgiller
