Wyoming Wildlife on gorge burbot
#1
[#500000]Just got the July Wyoming Wildlife magazine....It paints a gloom and doom picture for the gorge unless the lake trout take a liking to burbot.......They have checked the stomach contents of the lakers and they are not snacking on any small burbot.....[/#500000]
[#500000]The Wyoming game and fish, indicate that anglers should fill their freezers and make a concerted effort to target burbot.......The hours to catch them are just before sunset to about 11 pm, according to the article.........WW.[/#500000]

This has been a very interesting conversation over on the Kokanne fishing forum. We need to get another bash togetehr for this winter to help this fishery out over there.

They are good eating and no that tough to get into. No gettin up early to go after these bad boys. sleep in, go to breakfast, take a nap, go catch burbot[Wink]

Click here for the website. I don't fish for kokes but I do know enough about them that the guys on KFF know what they are doing. Just bring a towel so you can wipe the slime and scales off your hands [Wink].
