Hey guys how's it going? haha.
Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone's used the berkley Gulp alive's yet. I was gonna pick up a small box saturday and try them out. What do you think about them? And when I'm retrieving do I have to do anything other than reel back in? or should I twitch every once and a while.
(I asked this in the Pennsylvania fishing forum too, but I'm just wondering in general)

You can use them in a drop-shot set-up, jig with them, cast and retrieve... whatever you want. The baits have a ton of lifelike movement on their own so you don't have to do too much.
I use 2 Gulp Alive minnows at once when jigging for walleye, the action is crazy on them. A large one and a smaller one on the same jig-[reply][/reply]head.

I use them a bit and also have used the crawfish and the shrimp. they all work pretty well. Only problem I have had is the lid doesn't seal well and the yummy fish goodness leaks out. And it's sticky. But the bait itself works great.

Drop Shot: Consists of a weight at the very end of your line... and a hook and jig/gulp alive suspended about 6" - 12" above the weight that sits on the bottom. This way your bait is suspending inches off the bottom and is ready to be eaten.
Jigging can be a straight off the side of the boat thing or during retrieval. Cast your bait out... let it get bottom contact. Slowly real it in with very slight twitches and pauses. Otr... drop it off the side of a boat until it gets bottom contact and jig up and down... up and down.
