I am going to get a new casting rod. I have had a couple Ugly sticks and liked those, but I want something a little more. I was wondering what kind of suggestions anyone has for rods that are $50-60. Thank you for the help![Smile]

check around in the bargain cave in Cabelas
Ive picked up a couple of nice rods in there that some shumkuk bought and used and returned just because he could... You got to shop thou sometimes theres just broken junk in there so keep your eye out But sometimes you will luck out and get a killer rod in 120 plus range for 60 bucks or so..

I just bought a new casting rod this past week from the bargin cave online. I got Cabela's Mag Touch for $49. It is a great rod. I also have one I use for dropshoting in a spinner. Great value for the price.
