Heading up in morning with a couple buddies for Sunday sermon at the berry...

any suggestions? any hot spots? we'll be in a boat, I'm pretty sure he's got some downriggers on it....

It was beautiful day on the berry....we caught and released over 40 or so cuts between the 3 of us,m caught on everything from needlefish to flatfish.

caught a few kokanee at 30 feet, on a pink tasmanien devil with a big red flasher about 2 feet in front of it.

caught 3 rainbows, all on a bright yellow flatfish

coolest thing happened, I was standing on the front of the boat, we were over in the ladders, about 10 feet or so, I was casting a little needle fish and watching the little planters chase it, all of the sudden a huge school of fish passed in front of me about ten feet out, they were huge! I'll bet most of them were around 5 pounds and there was over a hundred easy, before I could think about throwing my lure in front of them they were gone.....

any idea what they were? I really couldn't tell, it was one of the coolest things I have seen, I didn't thing trout traveled in schools like that?
