hey guys. what's up
so i was thinking about buying some senko's today...only problem was that i didn't know which color to buy. I mainly fish the allegheny so it's kinda clear, kinda murky...i guess. but anyways, which color would i want to get for most of my worms if i fish in half/halp, clear/murky water?

I love fishing Senko's Its one of the best bass baits i ever used. One of the best colores i have used is Green punkin in the 5 inch . and watermellon is also a good choice . Good luck

My worm of choice is a blue with pumpkin, Works well in murky or clear. If water color is really clear I use a red with pumpkin and paint the tail Chartreuse.

Zoom makes a nice one that is green pumpkin with just the tip of the tail painted Green Chartreuse. That works well for me in clear and stained water.

i didn't think that it was necessary to create another thread since this post is also about lures, but...
so ever since i began fishing (like...2 months ago i think) I've used either nightcrawlers, or minnows/shiners. every once and a while i'd try a crankbait. So tomorrow, I think I'm gonna try and use just lures, I already have the senkos in green pumpkin, but what other lures (soft or hard...preferebly hard) would be good in the river, or is your go to lure, or lucky one?
EDIT: sorry about all these questions, but instead of going to the river, I think I might go to Crooked Creek Lake where there's supposed to be a lot of largemouths, so what lures would be good for that? I'm sure crankbaits, but if I were to get a buzzbait or spinnerbait, which color would I want to get (supposing the water is clear) and which blade?
Again sorry. But hey, I technically just entered the world of using lures so I know almost nothing

I don't really use any crank baits in the summer to be honest with you. Im more of a very slow plastic kinda guy. In the spring and that fall though i do use them. I really like the Rapala X-rap in the spring and in the fall as well. In the rivers i seem to have luck with them all year long. The best little crank that i have ever used on the river that never lets me down is the Rebel Humpback. I get all kinds of bass on those guys. Got to try it out in the black and silver color.
As for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, i really like white. Don't know why but i seem to have the most confidence in that color. If you are fishing at night or in low light conditions you should also try a black and blue color combination.
Here is the like for the Rebel Humpback. http://www.lurenet.com/productdetail.aspx?id=7180

ok so i know that you can basically use crankbaits anywhere. But what about spinners and buzzers? I mainly fish the river and where I fish is right next to a dam so there's already a lot of commotion going on.

You can still fish them there. Im guessing its a little deeper there so i would let my spinners sink a bit when they hit the water and real them in real slow just so the blades spin.
