<br /> I teamed up with my new friend LeakyWader to try and catch some fish last night. We started catching small fish out of the gate and shortly thereafter boated our first keeper, a Jenny Craig diet spot. We were happy to avoid the skunk and continued to throw plastics and spinnerbaits. We caught fish a majority of the evening, and the biggest downer was the catching of our largest keeper bass. As I was getting the fish to the boat, this big cruiser decides to pull up and tie off in the exact spot we had been catching fish.<br /> Ended up catching 16 fish for the evening, including a monster catfish that would have made some of the catfisherman on here proud. Finished up short of five pounds, which we figured to be the case after we culled the Jenny Craig spot with only a slightly larger Nutra-System largemouth. If we could have brought in one decent keeper and culled our smallest, we might have squeezed into the money.<br /> All in all, we had a great time and look forward to hitting the water again soon. Anytime you can catch fish and make friends at the same time is a good time.
