I now know what fishing the jumps are! Put in at sullavans about 5 am and went down river. When the sun came up I was throwing the buzzbait for all it was worth. Not much luck with it but I was determined to stick with it with all the bait fish running around. As always happens when things get slow my mind started drifting and I started looking around to see what the boats around me were trying about that time the water finally exploded! It sounded like a hourse doing a cannonball from the high dive! With my cat like reflexes I managed to set the hook so fast I almost pierced my ear with the buzzbait as it sailed past my face! emoBang I was done with the buzz bait.
About 10 am I saw some fish busting on top. I sliped over to em. They were in 8 to 10 ft. Water temp 84. I had a ball catching largemouth and big white bass. Caught them on poppers, cranks, and they ate ALL the hair off my rostertail. The biggest bass was maybe a pound and the boat paddles around 2. The real amazing thing to me was how long I stayed on the school. They were busting on top for everybit of two hours! In that time I caught at least 40 their I sead fish! If I'm lyin I'm dyin emoAngel
See ya on the water
