We fished the gorge last week for 3 days and had a blast catching lakers even though we were trying to catch kokanee. We were in the Big Bend and Squaw Hollow areas using Kokanee Kings, Needlefish, Wedding Rings and even Rapalas. The lakers loved the rapalas without a dodger. We were fishing in 20 to 30 feet of water most of the time. Some of the Kokanee were 40 feet down but not really biting much. We did catch some kokanee but the real action was on Lakers. The averaged 20 -24 inches and we nice and fat. They fillet up really good and the DWR wants you to keep as many under 28" as you can keep. Good luck and be sure to buy the Wyoming Stamp.

We fished the Gorge Saturday and Sunday mainly for kokanee. We caught plenty of small ones and only 6 18" to 22" fish. The bite picked up in the afternoon by the pipeline. Fish were at 40' to 45' but did catch a couple at 55'. Everything we used we tipped with a worm.
Hope this helps. Goodluck.[:/]
