New here from central Jersey

Hi I'm Sue from Somerset Co. NJ and I'm looking for anyone that has any experience fishing the Millstone river, especially for bass. I have no problem catching good size catfish but I'd love to know how to catch bass at night instead. Also, any info on the D&R canal would be great since I fish that when the river is flooded.
