camping and fishing

The familly is going camping over the 4th of July weekend. Does any7one know of a good place to go near a lake where I cqan do some fishing also.

I wouldn't mind catching some bass and bluegill so I was thinking about pelican lake. How are the campgrounds up there? Does anyone know if they take reservations and if so who to call. It's not on the list of state campgrounds.

If I remember right I think that you can camp all around pelican for free. I know that there is camping up near the boat lunch all so.
