deep water

I am thinking about going fishing in a lake near my home it is very deep (80-90ft) i was just wondering when lake fishing how deep is deep enough and is there to deep??[pirate]

Not sure what state your in, but I never had a problem with a lake that was too deep. A good deep lake usaully hold lake trout and you'll need to fish the depth their at.

If you're going to target fish, like lake trout, you're going to need downriggers on your boat.
