Bow's from shore at the Berry

[fishin]Went up to Strawberry for the evening and the kids killed them from the shore. Power bait, all colors, was the ticket. I was on the nightcrawler and
marshmallow kick and did I ever miss the boat. It was a good thing though, spent most of my time helping them net and bait.(and re-rig). Sent some photos of the two big ones, 16 and 17 inch rainbows. My daughter wouldn't hold hers so I get to be in one pix.
My boy landed the big one after a five minute battle. The thing ran three times, crossed all of our lines and broke water twice, I was so excited for him, that is what fishing is all about.

Those are some sweet fish. Can't wait to get my son fishing. (Still a litttle young, although we bought him akid pole and he walks around proudly with it). Its always great to hear about good trips form the shore. I don't have a boat so it motivates me to get out there and catch some.
