Fished Lucky Peak this AM, and my wife and I limited in four hours. They were at all depths--which seems to be the story this year. We picked up the first one on the downrigger before we dropped it down. Hit about 10 behind the boat. The others came from 20, 25, and 35. Pretty even on the depths. Considering these are next year's class, they are nice-sized. Didn't seem to matter if the gear was "old school" or new. They hit on Jack Lloyd 2-blades with a wedding ring and shoepeg, and likewise were hitting the UV Shasta Sling Blade dodger with their new 1 1/2" mini-pink hootchie.....with corn, of course. By the way, you can see the schools of spawners under the docks at Spring Shores. They are quite a sight, considering how big they are this year. Obviously returning to where they were planted. A great sight especially for kids. Mike
