Caught Aug 28th, at high noon, in 2' of water, 2' from the shore, in shoreline trees, on a jighead/nightcrawler. 22" in length, 8lb-11oz. In our excitement, neither myself nor my two witnesses thought of getting a girth reading. Duh.

Beautiful...thank you for posting. For our bass board members, I've been fishing this reservoir for...many years and have yet to catch a smallie bigger than 6 lbs. This is a trophy smallmouth no matter where you live.

NICE!!!! that guy is a fatty. I know all about those big ole smallies! I live close to lake erie, the smallmouth capitol of the world! With out a doubt the strongest, hardest fighting fish pound per pound in fresh water. They are one of my fave fish to catch. Way to go Perchinski!!! good catch. Please tell me you set him free to catch another day!?!?!?!
