[#500050]Fishing for Information![/#500050]
[#500050]There is a large pond-lake on the west side of Legacy Highway going South bound between Parish lane and 500 South, (It is fixed up really nice, parking, boat ramp ect.) there seems to be a lot of people there when I go to work at about 12:00 noon.[/#500050]
[#500050] I have not had the time to stop and see what it is or ask about the fish there, does anyone know what it is and the kind of fish in this pond?[/#500050]

Bountiful Lake. It has a little of everything in it. It is an Urban Fishery so they plant it with trout and channel cats.

LM bass, shite bass, trout, catfish, have caught white fish before, blugill, green sunfish, supposed to have walleye but haven't seen any. Great place to go if you don't have the time to go a further place. I usually go a few times a year.

Best thing about Bountiful is they allow boats. No moptors of any kind, but Canoes, Kayaks and row boats are welcome
This can really get you away from the crowds and out to fish around the islands. It has some good structure out there, some pieces of pipe and stumps that are sunken. Once you find them, they can produce often. There is also some deep water, as deep as 17' at the deepest spot I have found
