Hit up Newton with bassaholic on Sunday. Got there at 7am, didnt hook into a tiger until about 9. We ended up with 2, me and my brother got them. Kait didnt get one, wish she would have caught one instead of me. Decided to leave about 1:30 after not getting anything for a while. Don did get a tiny bass and perch i think. Then we decided to hit up willard.
Got to willard around 3. Seen bassrods and fishinfool fishing the north corner. We tried fishing by both of them and couldnt hook into what they were. Don did end up with 2 pre boil fish. After the fish started boiling we got quite a few, there was one time 4 of us had a fish on, but of course i lost mine. I was using the lure we had to cut out of dads finger (oops) and it straightened out the hook. Guess i should have changed it after we cut a barb off haha. We had a few lures that had the split rings broke off. Don lost a few lures to his line breaking and lost a fish and a lure after another boat ran his line over. We ended up taking home 17, kait got 3 of them, dad and me arent sure if we actually got any in the boat, so the rest might have been my brother and don, not sure. Biggest was about 21" and had one small one that should have been released, but Kait caught it when dad was hooked so no one paid attention to the fish. Despite the crowded boat, it was lots of fun. I was afraid of getting hit by someone elses lure, but actually ended up hitting myself haha.
