Moving to Connecticut in a week. I only have a 5 weight rod and I am a beginner but still need to find out where to go fishing. Any advice on flies or spots?

there are lots of great places in CT. My favorites are salmon river in colchester and farmington river they are both very well stocked and you should be able to catch trout their without a problem
