My dad, my wife and myself hit chicken creek east from the shore saturday morning. got there about 7:00 and left about 11:00. fishing was kinda slow we ended up with about 7 fish 4 were caught on powerbait and the other 3 on minnow under a bobber. lots of vegetation still. I tried throwin some rapalas but got weeds on every cast. we missed probably about 7 fish or more on the minnow setup. we were fishing the minnows about 18 inches below the surface. wind picked up about 10:00 and the fish quit biting. all cutts in the slot the 2 biggest were 21 inches. I'll try and post some pics if i can figure it out.

ps. the fish were biting really lightly, even with powerbait all fish were hooked in the lip we never had to leave a hook in any of the fish.
