full moon
#1
I've noticed that when I fish after a full moon it seems to affect the catch rate. I've looked at the astro tables in the magazines, and still don't understand the "best times to fish" any info on this would really be appreciated.

Hey BUB the catch rate usually goes down right after a full moon. The basic reason is that the fish can feed all night. Now if you use the lunar/solar charts you will notice that the prime time is in the dead of night. And that it is usually not at the high peak as it is during other times of the month. I would recomend that you buy one of the charts that has an explanation as to how they work. This will allow you to learn the hows and whys of this. For fishing the best chart and method is by the Polynesians. This seems to work anywherre in the world for some reason. Hope this helps.
