Those were fantastic photos. Thank you for sharing. Were you fishing for those cuda from a bridge?. Way cool. So, what's the story behind the pics?.

[/#008000][#000000]Those are some great shots! One day, before I die, I'll hook into one of those toothy critters. Looks like that Cuda got a piece of your Jack! Or is that a tuna?[/#000000][/#00ff40]

Thanks for the cool pictures. What were you using to catch the cudas. Is there tarpon in the area that you fished.

'berries are consider nuisance or trash fish by a lot of So Cal fisherman. They look cool a heck but they don't eat worth a darn. I've caught a lot of 'berries but was mainly going after yellowtail. I was doing a little combat fishing on a 3/4 day boat out of SD, the point loma, and there was this oriental gentleman that wanted my barracuda.

Everytime I caught one, which was way too often for my taste, I'd have the deckhand throw it in this fellow's gunny, along with a few skippies. Well, to make a long story short, when this guy got his cleaning bill he almost hit the deck. I had loaded him up plus he had his own fish! He soaked them in milk overnight before eating them. I'll stick to yellowtail...

yup plenty of tarpon! but from a bridge its a battle you will lose everytime!
they are so smart they go under bridge and break you off! also i hooked up to a jewfish over 100 lbs easy but he went between the bridge wrapped himself and stayed there till i cut line off. 60 lb is no match for a jewfish or tarpon from a bridge.

hey never ever and i mean ever eat a cuda! you are playing russian roulette there! anybody seen someone with ciguatera knows what i am talking about!

cudas tatse yummy when they are 12 inches then any bigger yuck! but they can be poisonous! yellowtails are great to eat we caught a couple of dozen plus other various snappers in key west.
