Fishing on Canandaigua Lake

Fishing on the southern end is good in the early morning till about 10:00 . Major catches are Yellow pearch , Pickerel chain , Sunfish ,Rock bass Large & Small mouths.
In the 75 to 150 ft marks Lake trout are being caught on sawbellies and sutton spoons . Pearch worms , minnows and jigs w/above baits or light colored grubs. Chain pickerel
on poppers in the early and late days . spoons like red & white daredevils and large spinners . sun fish and rock bass as pearch also small inline spinners w/worms .
bass large mouths carolina rigs with large worms or salamander poppers work to and in the deeper waters crankbaits .

COOL REPORT , DO YOU FISH THERE ALL THE TIME ? I'VE HEARD OF THE LAKE , BUT HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE THAT HAS FISHED IT BEFORE . IS IT VERY DEEP ?

sorry I missed your joining, I must have been fishing hard that week. [blush]

caught a few rather large keepers that week my self.
