Wanted to head up to the South Fork Below Pineview but not to sure were one goes to fly fish up there. Been up there to fish the reservoir but never to fly fish the river.
Any assistance would be gratefully welcomed Also what flies work well up there this time of the year ?

Is it called "South Fork" below Pineview? I believe it's just the Ogden. Or did I misunderstand where you were referring to?
If you're talking about the Ogden River below Pineview, then really the whole canyon will produce. Anywhere there is a legal public access point you can park, head down to the river, and let em rip.
I haven't been to the Ogden in a while, but as far as patterns go: egg patterns, small BH flashback PT's, HE's, etc should do the trick. The fish should be on redds, or getting darn close to it.

southfork is a great place to fish right now. Any of the campgrounds are good access points. The fish are of the redds now and begaining to hold in traditional winter holes. These fish are hungry and are willing to eat what you throw at them. they will take attractor patterns. small nymphs are good, but hard to keep them from fighting for a appricot egg pattern. Its only going to get better to. dont put any weight on it and high stick em you should get enough action to hold you over for at least a week
