[cool]I made some suggestions after your post about waders.
Keep looking and good luck. If you want some input on a potential purchase, come on back and let us know what you are looking at and we will be happy to provide whatever info we have on it.

Check out the water seeker,

I found them at Sports Mart for 169.00
one of the things I like most is the eas on filling it up.
They sit higher out of the water, I am 260 pounds so for me it is a blessing.
one other thing when you buy waders try them on at the store, don't stop untill you find a pair the fits, I went through six pair befor I was happy.
same with fins get the right ones.

Thanks guys for all the great info! Unfortunately I've never heard of Sports Mart or Turners. I am from utah and weve got sportsmans warehouse and gart sports and a buddy just told me about Galyans.I fear Galyans may be to expensive though. I'll just head over to the few weve got here and check it out. thankyou hellsangler69 for telling me about overstock.com. That looks like a pretty sweet tube.
The reason I said I didnt want the round style is a friend told me they are harder to manuever, sit real low in the water and it is hard to land fish because you have to lean over too far. I dont know, but im wiilin to bet you guys can give me better advice. I dont think i need to buy a geally expensive deal because im just a beginner although i do plan on looking at one of those 8 ft pontoon deals.

that sounds great! the round tubes do sit you lower in the ground, and are harder to get to places because it isn't as aerodynamic as pontoons. more resistance. I started out with a donut though. it worked fine for me, but I had to upgrade. I just recently bought a caddis navigator VI. it is a pontoon style tube.

loanfish,
They have that exact same float tube water seeker day tripper on sale at Garts for about $139 or so. It looks like a great tube if your interested in it go down and take a look. They always put them on sale around the holidays and they are always willing to give it to you at the previous sale price if you just ask and it's an item they are having trouble moving.
