I will be hitting the Berry tomorrow with my buddy. We will have his canoe. I am not a novice to fly fishing, but would say that I am a novice to the Strawberry. I have fished it twice but I think just missed things the last time and took a bit to figure things out. Anyone have any advice for tomorrow? I noticed that some people have had success just letting their line out and twitching it as they move. Sounds like an interesting tactic. I should be there all day into the early evening.

Watch out for the wind. A canoe on Strawberry in the wind with near ice-cold waters could mean big problems. The wind can get pretty epic up there. Just be careful.

Don't venture too far from shore and WEAR your life jacket! The Berry can get nasty in a matter of minutes!

Pea soup think fog is an issue also. We got lost in it yesterday morning in a boat just 40 yards from shore. Drove around for a minute before we found it again. Good luck in the Canoe, I would launch around 10 once the fog burns off. It was 9* there yesterday.
