Homemade fly rod socks
#1
Some of my fly rods come with tubes and no socks. So
I started making my own rod socks. Using felt material
for extra softness and protection. Color match to rod so
I know whats in it.
On the new 3wt sage I also sew three black stripes on the sock , just so I know that is a 3wt [Smile]. Overkill ? Maybe.
Then they all go into my fishpond hard case. I can put upto six rods into that case.
Just sharing.
