is it any good to bother going and ice fishing it? When does it usually freeze over? What should i use?

also what do you catch threw the ice. any eyes? i have wanted to try ice fishing for some but have never done it.

Ice fishing there can be good and can be slow. Last year there weren't many perch but many caught trout and a few eyes were caught as well. All the usual ice lures work and baitwise worm and marshmellos, grubs etc.

Not sure when it will be safe but these 12 deg nights should help. Be sure to check it out and remember there can be thin spots.
