ICE Fishing is here!!

Antero, Eleven Mile, Tarryall, and Jefferson all now have at least some fishable ice and are kicking out nice fish.

Be careful out there. They all have some thin spots and some unsafe ice.

Chatfield capped on Wednesday after the bitter cold spell and people are fishing the north maina cove and starting to venture farther out. Cherry Creek and Aurora have ice in places reportedly 2-4" thick and people are fishing parts of those as well as Bear Creek Res. Lots of unsafe ice, but you can find metro area places to fish if you're careful.

The hot spots are still Antero, Eleven Mile and the lakes in North Park (John and the Delaneys).
