I went up to see if pineview had iced up the north fork was iced to the launch middle fork and south fork where free of ice and all the way down to the dam I guess we need some calmer colder weather up there.

Pineview takes a titch longer to totally ice over...think'n Christmas or New Years week...PV will have locations of 'safe' ice. Thanks for the intel though as we've been wondering on PV ice conditions.

I talked to the strawberry marina today and they said the same thing...open water mostly due to windy days. He said if it would calm down, the lake would freeze. But there were some icy inlets and bays that had iced over.

last weekend there was zero ice up there.... not even any shore ice near the boat ramp, im personaly hoping it stays like that tille at least the following weekend. im going after crappie and perch again sunday, and then maybe the following weekend. after that you ice fishin guys can have at it lol
