Got out to UL for the first time this year to try and target some white bass. Action was fairly fast at times and not so much at others. Lots of safe ice still 5-6" in most places with about 2" slush on top. Still alot of areas trying to freeze but are still not safe, so don't get over confident while walking around. Still a few areas of open water. Between Fellow BFT'r Brody Floto and I we Iced a little over 60 fish in a few hrs.

You did much better than everyone else I talked to. We fished the bubble up and Lindon marina only to catch 3 in 3 hours. But we fished the last 3 hours of light and everyone else said that the morning was better. We didn't see anyone else catch anything so we were happy to nab the three. Where were you fishing?

Lindon. We got out of there at about 3:30 or so. It was good for most of the day. Just had to fish aggressively and get them excited. Otherwise it could get kinda slow.

Looks like you didn't do too bad yourself. Everywhere I looked was 6' of water so that is what we fished. Was it the same over on the other side?

I didn't have a depth finder but we estimated (based on how much line we let out until we hit bottom) that we were in 6-6.5 feet and the whities were either right on the bottom to a foot off.

Well, they look pretty darn professional. I'll have to round up a mug shot and do the same.
Thanks!
