Howdy! Good to be on board. [fishin] I've got a question about ice fishing at Gem State Dam. Can you do it and how is it? I usually fish at Island Park Res. but this year is very slow up there. Looking for some new places to go that aren't very far from where I live.[ Sugar City]. Don't have a snowmobile so I have to walk when I go. Any help?

Hi Dryrod, when I fish the Teton River I usually go down in the canyon where bitch creek comes in. Not much pressure there and I like the big holes. Caught some real nice ones there this past season. Can't wait to go back. I was born and raised in Teton Valley so I have been lucky enough to have done alot of fishing there. That is probably my favorite place of all.
