Nor-tah and I decided to hit Jordanelle today after much debate between DC and the nelle. We figured full moon, storm, liitle pressure would give us a good shot at a brown at the nelle.
Well the fishing wasnt very good, with only 3 bows landed and probably 3-4 more good hits that we farmed. But the size of the bows was impressive!!
The three fish went 19", 20" and 21" and they were FAT!! I kept two and when I cleaned them out I found 4 baby perch in one and 6 in another.
Fished in 12-22 feet of water about 200 yards from the boat ramp. Water is way low this year.
Most of Jordanelle is still open although we fished on ice ranging from 4-8 inches. I don't know if I will make another trip there soon but the size of the bows at both the Nelle and DC have been impressive this winter.
