a 17 inch rainbow was the biggest fish. He won a $300 coupon. The slush monster is alive and well eating up four wheelers and some snow mobiles. Me and the boys caught alot of fish. But not 1 rainbow over 14 inches. It did not matter what you fished with caught then from right under the ice to right off the bottom in 24 feet of water. Back to fishing for Perch. That is looking for Perch.

I was there as well. Only little bows, cutts, and chubs for us. I was the big loud one in the front when the raffle was going on. Did you guys see the Tiger that guy had in the parking lot? I think he said it was 27". What a beaut.

We got to Scolfield 0630 am my brother drove from Colorado arrived we got signed in paid the money off we went straight to my lilttle guys spot he has been saving, got the holes drilled tents set up and heaters rolling my little guy was cleaning out all the holes when he herd the shot gun go off and he said is it time I yes your clear to fish so as we are still setting up everything he hooks into the first pic 20 inch tiger he says dad I need your help so I went over there and helped him keep his pole tip up as he reeled 1 fish down pic taken back to fishing he has another one I dont even have my pole in the water, didnt measure it but it was a brown then a couple more tigers. Everyone else caught little 9-12 inchers he had the honey hole then around 13:30 pm he caught his Rainbow it was 14.5 inches so we packed up and went to the weight in were he took 4th place and won him a 100 to sportmans warehouse. last pic is his photo for 4th place. We set sail this morning went to sportsmans were he bought him a new chair, pole, tackle and some smelly jelly he went over the 100 but dad covered the extra all in all he had a blast and I couldnt be more proud and it is really funny how kids pick up on something so quick. Quick Rockport report lots of bites couldnt hook a thing.

Thats funny. I was the guy standing to your left. I had my little boy standing infront of me. We got one of the jig boxes.
Yea that Tiger was a pig.
I wish they would have had a contest for the most lbs of chubs caught, I might have had a chance a winning something. LOL.

It was pretty fun for my boy he was loving it! I wish we had more stuff like that during the whole year maybe that will change and we will have more tournements like this simple and fun nothing tha would impact any certain water. Maybe a tournement at Willard for perch?
