Strawberry/Ladders 1/2/10

Decided to hit the south end of the Ladders at daybreak but the raods were really bad so i was late(9:30) my cusin was on the ice at 7:30 and pulled in three before i showed up. we were in 17ft and most of the fish were crusing around at 9-15ft until about 11:30 when it died off then you would see them jump up from the bottom, take a look and gone again.
total for day-6 in the slot the two bigest were 21 1/2 & 21 3/4

nice fish what were you using if you dont mind me asking i was up there not too long ago using meal/wax worms without much luck

we were using all the normal stuff and had hits on just about everything but real soft and not able to set the hook, the best ones were green paddle bugs and foxy jigs tipped with earth, wax worms.

just a side note: i have several poles set up with differant line and lures. had more hits and looks on the 2lb line set ups.
