Hit PV today from 10 a.m. til 4 p.m. Caught probably thirty perch, most were small but brought about 10 keepers home which most were 8-9 in. Fished in the narrows by the buoy line.

[font "Arial"][#000000][size 2]I was with my brother today in the narrows also. As we got there (9 ish) some were leaving that said they only got a few bites, and the others there were moving around. We blanked for a while until we moved around and found fish in just over 40'. The numbers were there for us, but the size absolutely was not. The two of us caught only a few keeper perch. Half our catch were bluegill, but the largest was 6", and all but a couple were only 3"! They're cute, but not worthy dinner guests! [] One crappie for the day, and it was only slightly larger than my shad lures I troll with at Willard. Another fellow came over and asked how we were doing and stated that he was unable to find anything with any size either.

I've been listening to the reports on the buoys, and this fellow asked where the buoys were - and I didn't know what to tell him because I don't know where they are either. [angelic] There were people fishing very near the dam. So nothing was being done to stop anyone from fishing where ever they want, today.

So if you are someone that's caught something with some size, I'd love a PM, please, if you'd be willing to share the area, cuz went to Cemetary point twice last week, and now the narrows and I haven't found them yet! [cool]

PView is a great place for the kiddies right now - but with 5 trips under my belt this year on the ice and NOTHING over 11" yet. Guess I need change lakes, technique - or try bowling!! [sly]
