I had a couple of days off and decided to brave the Arizona winter waters ( air temp 69 ) and take the pontoon out. I took my nephew with me so that he could try out his new CreekCo. Original U-boat.

we hit the water about 1030 am and fished until 5:30 pm. 2 cats and 5 small gills later we called it quits. all in all it was a good day. the gills were unusually bright red on the breast and bit hard on worms. I guess the desert has its advantages, I will try to remember that when it gets around 100 + in the summer and I m looking for shade. I am going to get the hang of this picture thing, eventually.

[#0000ff]I spent about 20 years in Arizona...half in Tucson and half in Phoenix area. Tubed all over the state and down into the Sea of Cortez. This is the time of year I miss it most. I went ice fishing in Utah today.[/#0000ff]
