Fished just south of Buckboard all day on 8 to 9" of clear ice...Loads of ice, could not see open water from Buckboard area south....a few people catching trout about 40 to 60' of water..
Moved to a better spot around dark and caught 6 Ling and 1 Laker before leaving at 8:00....the smallest was about 10 inches, and the biggest about 18"...Lake Trout was probably 18" as well...woulda threw him back but he swallowed the whole thing.
Lottsa fun, and the weather was awesome!...
Same bait everyone is telling me they use,,,Glow jigs tiped with sucker meat....
Had a blast for the first ice trip out on the Gorge!
