There is lots of ice here in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I fish the small lakes in Wayne County. I have been out three times and chasing flags all day. We have lots of room on the ice, so consider a trip north.

Those little warm spells can open up the streams up here in the Erie area. When they do, you might want to think about steelhead. From now through April the creeks are packed with steelies averaging 4-6 pounds, 8-10 lb.ers are common, and a 12-15 lb is not hard to find. We just had a few days of awesome fishing but the creeks are icing back in now.

If you need any info feel free to pm or e-mail me. E-mail is probably best, I check that every day.

The way it lookes as of now were not going to be out on the Susquehanna anytime soon . I live about 5 miles from Gouldsboro. And after all this snow theres lots of ice coming down river. I have my first tournament of the year on March 13th. And if we get some warm weather im sure will have some flooding along with it.

lots of snow headed to southern south central pa. Only good news is that it will make a big deal at the raystown spillway in spring. Big water > big fish. Now for you its going to be alot of brown water with all this melt off in march below Hbg. Looking at the swatty in middletown > its almost cresting. This will be a good year in march for all lake spillways big and small. Don't wait for spring at the spillways to get alots of action.
