Hit the view as well this morning
started off at 730 in 55 feet of water right next to the bouys.
The ticket was catching the dinks (perch) with waxies then using the meat and eyeballs for the bigger toads.

Neither, Tip of the middle finger. We were the only ones there...us and the fish. Try the less travled areas, I think they like it there. The big finger.

Also-- Check out the map @ sportsmans. You don't need to buy it, just rent it for 30 seconds. In pineview there is a railroad as well as a river/creek that once flowed thru. I have Ice fished 2/3 of the fingers and have done well away from the crowds. Less fish, but way bigger. Also, the deeper the bigger-- to a certain extent....pineview has places off of cem. point that are 75', I dont know if they hang down there or not. We caught the bigger ones @ 45'. Glow is a must. Good luck,
Shawn

Sweet! I'll give it try. We are planning on going there tomorrow. Two of us may try some night fishing there too. Thx for the info!

Me and my middle boy went to Pineview also today. We got to cemetery point about 9:30 and were fishing in just under 40'. We were catching a lot of dinks, but we had a blast watching the hoards of 4" to 6" perch moving around the bottom with the our new aqua-vu 4X4. Man is it frustrating seeing half a dozen fish look at your bait for a minute without a bite.
We had a blast catching the dinks and even managed to bring home a few 6 inchers for a small(and I do mean small) taste of fresh fish.

glad to hear you had a good time. The larger ones seem to be away from the crowds.
