the little macks are on fire,the bite is hard and fast in the mornings 3" tube jigs tipped with meat will bring in a limit pretty quick. the burbot fishing is still fast, ,in the daytime i was catching them as deep as 80ft of water. at night move in close to shore 30 to 10ft of water this morning i had my limit of macks in the first hour. after 10:00 it slows down until about 2hrs before dark. good luck on the burbot bash boys!!! oh yeah bring some pliers those burbs can engulf a jig down..

Are you fishing with lighter tackle when fishing for burbot at that depth? If so, what happens if you happen to hook a large mack?

hey kent.. i was fishing in 70ft to 90ft of water for the macks. and i use the same set up as i do for the bigger macks, just a little smaller jigs
